WCPMA Rules

The NHRA and IHRA rules were not available when the meeting was held, so no vote as to which we should use could be held. The NHRA GSA rules are now on the NHRA website. The IHRA rules should be available soon.
I noticed a few things in the NHRA rules such as; Pro stock body styles allowed, no CID limit on NOS cars, OEM automatics allowed, NOS weight 2425lbs, supercharged weight 2650 lbs, no automatic shifters. These are all slightly different than IHRA last year. There may be other things so please look them over as there will be a vote.

NHRA has just banned AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS?!?!?!? Will this be the same rule here?

I spoke with Ross yesterday and they are reviewing the rules but have not made any decisions yet.

We should have the 2010 west coast pro mod rules posted on the web site within a few days, i apoligize for the delay in the rules although many factors came into place this year. Our goal was to follow a set of rules which above all needs to be safety, and secondly a set of rules which would allow a wide range of different cars to particpate.

Everyone must love the 2010 WCPMA rules as not a single comment has been made. No news is usually good news. So with that in mind -- lets race!!

Ok.... Here is a comment.

Probably no secret I sold my GTO. Was going to take some time off and just crew on my kids Outlaw 10.5 car. Even promised him my motor so he can spank Glidden at the next Vegas Supernationals.

After talking to Vern (thanks for the call my friend) I am pleased to tell you all that I am having Bickel build me a Cynergy 69 Camaro and it will fit in your rules.
Since I needed a new bullet anyway's, Might as well put a little go juice into it and the only other real difference is the fire system, the gloves and shoes.

Thanks everybody that helped make the rules. It gives me another place to play. I look forward to running with you guys.
