Point system
for WCPM series:
100 points for
entering race, 200 pts first round loser, 400 pts for
semi final loser, 600 pts for r/u and 800 pts for winner.
In a four round event, the winner gets 1000 pts, and
r/u gets 800 pts, semi loser gets 600 pts, second round
and first round losers are 400 and 200 respectively.
50 points for both low et and top mph. 400 points for
attending every event. Qualifying points are based on
the # of qualified cars. In an eight car field: #1 gets
8pts. #2 gets 7pts down to #8 getting 1 pt. The same
ratio for bigger or smaller fields. (If a driver goes
in as an alternate they only receive points for rounds
past round one)
