Andy
Neyer

Andy Neyer is the one of the
West Coast Pro Mod Associations youngest racers. In
his first season racing with WCPMA, 1999, Neyer placed
in the top 8 after running only half of the season.
In 2000 he was named WCPMA "Rookie of the Year."
In November of 2000 Neyer participated in his first
IHRA National event in Shreveport, LA where he ran
his best mph at over 222 MPH. Neyer proved himself
in 2001 by winning the coveted WCPMA Red Line Oil
Championship and as icing on the cake he received
the "Best Appearing Crew" award at the 2001
Super Chevy Show in Las Vegas.
Andy began racing as a hobby
in the Southern California community of Van Nuys where
he grew up. At age 21 he made the move to Arizona
where he now lives with his wife Karen and daughter
Morgan. In 1998 with help from his sister Stacey and
brother-in-law Rod Beck, a major league baseball player,
Neyer began racing professionally with his newly created
Nine's Mine Motorsports. He purchased his 1993 Corvette
which he drove to the 2001 Championship.
The car was painted by House
of Kolor in Missoula, Montana and features over 2000
Supercharged Horsepower courtesy of John Scialpi at
Woppado Racing. Occasionally when not running with
the WCPMA Neyer pours some nitro in the tank and competes
in the Nitro Coupe category at select Super Chevy
Events.
The always patriotic Neyer
can be seen proudly flying 'Old Glory' from the roof
of his Corvette while he makes his burnouts.
